Last summer, Olivia volunteered as a teaching assistant at an underserved elementary school in a small Costa Rican town. It was here that she discovered a keen interest in working with students. In addition, she has volunteered at various organizations, camps, and schools throughout her life. Through these experiences and her own academic career, Olivia developed a passion for education and for sharing knowledge with others. As a former college lacrosse player, she is excited to bring her team mentality to the Blue Engine teaching model by working with others to help students achieve their academic goals. Olivia is looking forward to the possibility of attending dental school in the future, so she is excited for this opportunity as a BETA to serve and have an impact on a new community.
