Molly Siebecker

Hometown: Clarks Summit, PA

Education: English and Mathematics, Williams College

Growing up outside of Scranton, Pennsylvania, Molly was inspired to consider a career in education by her favorite high school teachers. She studied math and English at Williams College with the hope of eventually teaching these subjects at the high school level. Molly interned at the Williams College Children’s Center and participated in an informal mentoring program with Berkshire Farm Center, a residential treatment center for youth. These experiences, along with an alternative spring break trip tutoring students in the New York City area, furthered her interest in teaching and working with underserved communities. While her career interests have shifted towards studying clinical social work and becoming a therapist, she is excited to put her belief in the power of relationship-building as a catalyst for growth into practice in an educational context. Molly is looking forward to sharing her love of math as an algebra BETA, and she is grateful to be a part of the Blue Engine community this year.
