Kendall started substitute teaching in high schools in spring 2017 (and in middle schools as well about a year after). He started working with Blue Engine in summer 2018. He is currently in his second year as a Team Coordinator and in his first year at Relay Graduate School of Education going for his MA in Teaching as a Middle School Generalist. The process of becoming a teacher has been quite an awakening experience for Kendall. He has learned so much about having a growth mindset and how to interact with people in a way that seeks to minimize conflict and maximize understanding. He is also inspired by his mother, who was a middle school teacher since before he was born and who recently started teaching high school.
