Taiwo Majekodunmi graduated from Syracuse University with B.A. in Psychology while also minoring in both African American Studies and Public Health. She was heavily involved on campus, from being president of the African Student Union to doing research with a clinical psychologist. Her passion is to help people, specifically adolescents in high school. From a young age, education was big deal to Taiwo. She always looked forward to the first day of school and sought to understand things she did not know. Starting from her sophomore year at Syracuse, Taiwo tutored high school students in preparation for the SAT. She is so excited to be helping to teach Math and share some of the innovative ways the she learned with the students she will be teaching. Taiwo’s interests include reading, writing poetry and short stories, connecting with people and traveling.
