Sam, from Livingston, NJ, is a recent graduate of Brandeis University where he studied Politics and Near Eastern & Judaic Studies. He also studied abroad at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. While at Brandeis, Sam enjoyed working with children and peers. He served as a coordinator for a program that helps local middle school students who recently immigrated to the United States, and was also a teaching assistant for a statistics class. Sam enjoys reading, particularly John Feinstein books, and playing basketball. He is excited to be a BETA and join an organization committed to combating education inequality.
