Linda Sebisaho was born and raised in Bukavu, Democratic Republic of Congo. In 2008, she immigrated to the United States of America and has been living in New York City for the past 9 years. She is a proud product of the New York City Public School System. As an English-Language Learner, Linda’s high school teachers offered the resources and supports necessary to ensure her academic success. Upon graduation, Linda attended DePauw University, a liberal arts institution in Indiana where she majored in Biology. While growing up in Eastern Congo, Linda developed her passion for education and public health reform. She believes access to education and healthcare are human rights.She is dedicated to her journey as an educator, specifically STEM education in undeserved communities.
