Education: Music Performance, Georgia State University
Ella immigrated to the United States from Israel at the age of seven with her family. She grew up–for the most part–near the Appalachian Mountains in North Georgia and went on to study vocal performance and religious studies at Georgia State University in downtown Atlanta. Her passion for education began when she started to work with a local nonprofit that ran a Sunday and Afterschool program. Discovering the powerful exchange between teacher and student led her to seek more ways to engage with young minds, while expanding her own. Ella is thrilled to take on the challenges of the vastly new frontier that is Blue Engine and the role of BETA.
